On the other hand, Pearlyn and Paper is thrilled to announce a launch of a new collection of prints, #WITHTHISVOW, where we believe that marriage vows carry much more weight than just words.
You don’t need to be married to know that marriage isn’t easy, that the wonderful feeling of love doesn’t happen everyday. Some days I’m like a teenager in-love with butterflies in my stomach and some days, I feel the love faltering. When things don’t work out and the day get rough, it’s always easy to pull out and take the back seat. But has a wife, I’m still learning that love is a choice we have to make each day, things I do to serve him doesn’t always feel good at that time, but it comes back with more in a greater depth.
Most people get married believing a myth, that marriage is beautiful box full of all the things they have longed for; companionship, intimacy, friendship.
The truth is that marriage, at the start, is an empty box. You must put something in before you can take anything out. There is no love in marriage; love is in people, and people put it into marriage.
There is no romance in marriage; people have to infuse it into their marriages. A couple must learn the art, and form the habit of giving, loving, serving, praising– keeping the box full. If you take out more than you put in, the box will be empty. –J. Allan Petersen
#WITHTHISVOW hopes to bring a beautiful reminder that marriage or love, that it isn’t just about feelings but a commitment.
Pearlyn and Paper is super excited to be handing out 50pcs of this gold foiled print this Saturday & Sunday to the first 25 couples at Let’s Wed.
